Emotional Intelligence for Leaders - workshop and coaching

The greatest factor is career progression and leadership success is Emotional Intelligence. Led by a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, it examines the science of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and the compelling business case for its relationship to leadership success. This introduction is designed to bring the leaders awareness to the ten dynamic emotional skills that distinguish outstanding leaders from the average ones.

Emotional Capital involves two parts: first, becoming aware of how our emotions and the emotions of others drive behaviours and second, developing the skills to manage these emotions intelligently to leverage our personal strengths.

The ultimate aim is to better understand those we interact with, solve problems faster and more effectively influence the behaviour of others. You will gain a greater understanding of Emotional Intelligence as well as the key emotional and social skills that increase your effectiveness as a leader. You will gain self-awareness and some insight into how emotions affect your behaviours and how you come across to others.

For Emotional Intelligence for Leaders I also offer an Emotional Capital Report (ECR) 360. The online ECR 360 Multi-Rater Report which combines responses from your chosen raters and compares these scores to your ‘self’ scores to gain an understanding of the differences in perception. The ECR 360 Multi Rater-Assessment is used to assess your key skills in emotional intelligence (from your perspective as well as those who work with you) and get a comprehensive interpretation of your strengths and skills development potential.

Coaching Techniques for Leaders

We believe coaching is an integral skill for leaders, both from a personal leadership and team leadership point of view. Different scenarios require different coaching and leadership skills, knowing what these skills are, when to use them and what impact they will have is important. During this course we will explore techniques and apply them to practical examples.

Be confident in a leader on when and how to use coaching, empower your team and deepen your understanding.
